EASMLens is operated by Security Solution Consultants Pty Ltd, headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with a regional office in Auckland, New Zealand. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and the privacy laws of the other countries where we do business.
This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information through easmlens.com and the EASMLens platform, and the rights you have.
Personal information you give us
We collect personal information when you:
- request a demonstration or contact us, for example your name, work email address, organisation and telephone number, which we use to respond and to follow up about your request;
- become a customer or a user of the platform, which we use to provide, support and bill for the service;
- correspond with us, which we may keep as a record of the request or complaint; and
- subscribe to updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time using the link in any email.
Information the platform collects about internet-facing assets
To provide the service, EASMLens collects information about internet-facing assets from public sources such as DNS records, certificate transparency logs and internet-wide scan datasets, and from its own non-destructive checks of the assets in a customer’s scope. This is information about systems, not about individuals. Where public records such as domain registration or certificate data contain personal information, we use it only to attribute assets to the customer that asked us to monitor them.
Customers control which domains and organisations they monitor, and we process customer data on their behalf under our agreement with them.
Use of our website
Our website records standard log information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages viewed, to operate and improve the site and to keep it secure. We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the site and for signing in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then not work.
Our website links to third-party websites, including regulators. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Who we share personal information with
We share personal information with employees, contractors and service providers who need it to provide our services, including hosting, email delivery and professional advisers, and with partners where a partner delivers or supports your service. We require them to keep it secure and confidential and to use it only as we instruct. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Where personal information is stored
The EASMLens platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Personal information may be stored in or accessed from countries other than the one you are in. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the law where you are.
How we protect personal information
EASMLens is operated under an ISO/IEC 27001 certified information security management system. Access to personal information is limited to people who need it, and we require our service providers to protect it.
How long we keep personal information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, including for the life of a customer relationship and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and legal obligations.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or, where the law allows, delete it. Email info@easmlens.com. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner, or the privacy regulator where you live.
